Delia may be a small village but the heart of its people is very big. They opened their community hall for us during the snow storm and treated us like family. They dropped whatever they were doing, left their own families and fed us with very delicious and nutritious food; they provided us their own blankets, mattresses and pillows to make sure that we are warm and comfortable while we're waiting for the storm to pass and the highways to get cleared; they risked their own safety just to check and let us know if the roads are already passable; and simple things like providing playing cards to take our minds off the fact that we are stranded in the middle of the prairies, with no idea when we could get to our destinations. Big thank you to the very lovely people of Delia! We will never forget you!
